!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! I just tested it so far, it’s not officially installed yet. Il do and post a full install later this week. I don’t care how ricer you think this is. Playing PS2 classics on full surround sound is a fucking blast. Especially since I often carpool with my wife and have to wait an hour for her in the afternoon. Cant think of a better way to spend that hour. Xzibit would be proud.

I can probably do this with my sienna with the rear tv. I remember a while ago (a really long time ago) I had connected a wii to it and played it for a long while on a long car trip.

Even though I’d never really need it, I do want one, just for the novelty of it. But wouldn’t you need to keep the car running so you don’t drain the battery?

Game consoles in cars are the only early 2000s ricer cliche that seriously needs to make a comeback.

Yeah it would be best to keep the car on. A ps2 slim doesn’t use much juice only 48 watts. But I wouldn’t want to end up stranded because I played too long.

This brings me way WAY back. I thought it was the best thing in pimp my ride and now I have it too. My son will get a proper education on how we used to do things.

This is different. This is a PS2 integrated into the center console. That’s just connecting your Wii to what’s basically a TV.

true, but I still got surround sound from it, that was pretty cool I guess... I tried to put a cable box in my sienna once, didn’t really work well, haven’t tried xbox yet

Yes its pretty easy on those rear tv. But playing it on the stock head unit is on a whole other level. Pimp my ride yo!

Yeah I figured the power wouldn’t be too draining, but I have no idea how long car batteries can last when the car is off, so I always get really paranoid lol.

My factory head unit has rca inputs I did not know this until today. So the only thing I needed was a 100 watt 12volt power inverter. All the hook ups and inverter are in the center console. I just tested it to see if it works. I’ll do a full install and writeup later this week.

I’m doing my part to get it going again. I could pretty much use anything now that I have it figured out. But an xbox one or something would be huge I’d have to stick under the seat or something and I’d need a MUCH larger power inverter. I had a spare ps2 so this basically cost me $24.99 for a 100w inverter.

Ah! Yeah now that I remember my friends and I did the same in my mothers Expedition EL. They played GTA V whilst I drove around the city, fun times were had.

Never mind, never played it, although the HUD looks kind of like the golden days of Need for Speed. I was probably confusing it with that.

Tokyo race extreme zero was my fav. It'd be cooler if you put a screen in your screen so you could watch picture in picture!

What made you think that? Altough I was into the ricer scene in the early 2000's (got my lisence the same year fast and the furious came out so what do you expect?) my retro gaming roots are much stronger than my ricer roots.

So those RCA cable hookups in the center console in MFT Fusions actually do something?! My mind has just been blown. How the hell do you switch it off the MFT screen to that though?

Yes they do something. I’ve seen them before and it never even clicked as to why they were there. now the possibilities are endless.

it’s easy. just go under entertainment then where it says AM,FM,CD,Bluetooth, usb, and at the very bottom of that list it says A/V click that and you are ready to rock.

All else that is needed is a small power inverter for the power supply. A PS2 Slim only uses 48watts so a cheap one is fine. I used this 100W black and decker model. it was $24 bucks Canadian.
